I began my career as an Assistant Editor at e-commerce platform LivingSocial, working across dozens of markets sending ‘daily deals’ emails across dozens of markets. Since then, CRM has always been home territory, and over the years I’ve mastered clear, easy-to-scan content that cuts through the noise in people’s inboxes, and benefit-led copy with persuasive power and direct call-to-actions.
At Fortnum & Mason, I headed up copy on a highly agile email team producing high engaged, high converting email newsletters for UK, international and corporate databases. Ensuring brand tone of voice balanced with commercial requirements, we regularly tested subject lines, pre-headers and email content testing to improve open and click through rates.
